Comstock Park, MI · West Michigan
Water well drilling, pumps, pressure tanks and repairs for homes, farms and businesses from Comstock Park out across West Michigan. Family owned and drilling since 1991.
Answered within 24 hours. No obligation.
Since 1991
Wahlfield Drilling Co works out of an office at 4449 Westshire Dr NW in Comstock Park, just north of Grand Rapids. We drill new wells for homes and businesses and pull the permit ourselves, so the job runs from paperwork to a finished well with one company on it.
After the drilling comes the upkeep. Our well pump services cover pumps, pressure tanks and constant pressure systems, with well chlorination on request. Routine well and water system maintenance and repair catches the small stuff before a pump quits on you.
You talk to the owner. You get the quote in writing. We stand behind the labor for a year. Put a face to the name and meet the crew before they show up in your driveway.
Meet the companyWhat we do
From the first borehole to the last pressure tank, one crew handles the whole thing. That means a new residential water system for a house out past the city lines, a commercial water system for a shop or a farm, irrigation system installation with wells of any size, well water testing, and well abandonment services when an old well has to be sealed for good.
Most water well service calls start the same way. Low pressure, or no water at all. If you are searching well pump repair near me with dry taps, call. Same-day service and after-hours help are available.

(616) 784-1214Where we drill
Grand Rapids proper is mostly on city water. The wells are out past the suburbs, so that is where the trucks spend their days. Rockford and Sparta just up the road. Newaygo and Baldwin to the north. Muskegon, Spring Lake and Holland toward the lake, with Hart and Ludington up the shore. Ionia to the east, Hastings to the south.
M-37 runs from Hastings up through Grand Rapids to Newaygo and Baldwin, and that whole corridor is our ground. Counties we cover: Kent, Ottawa, Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Newaygo, Muskegon, Montcalm, Oceana, Lake and Mason. If you typed well drilling near me from anywhere in that stretch, you are in our territory. Before you call, read what customers say about our well work.
